Here's two things that are bringing smiles to our faces lately! Portland_Toys_klutz_spiral_draw

Spiral Drawing kits are so easy to use, and the drawings are so silly you can't help but smile!  Especially when a multi-colored pen is included!  Also, according to the box you can "create one ZILLION designs"!  Awesome!

Ice cream is one of our favorite ways to beat the heat.  Lucky for us we're surrounded by ice cream!  Stop by Two Tarts, Alotto Gelato or Salt & Straw for a cup or cone!  Or pick up a tasty ice cream crepe at Love Via Crepes!  We have ice cream lip gloss too - if that's more your thing!

And, here's three weekend events that might be fun to check out!

PDX Adult Soapbox Derby  You won't see any kids racing in this derby, but you will see them excitedly watching!   Head to Mt. Tabor for this annual high-speed event!  The mission (besides not crashing while going down a hill at insanely fast speeds) - Keeping the kid in us all!  Saturday 10am at Mt. Tabor Park, Free, All Ages, event details here.

Seaport Celebration Ships, cranes, trains, trucks and big machines!  What little kid wouldn't love this?!  Plus, there's food, live music, face painting, a photo booth, $10 Portland Spirit cruises, $5 jet boat rides and more!  And, with the weather being the way it is, hanging out by the river sounds awfully nice!  Saturday, 10am – 4pm at the Port of Portland, Terminal 4, Free, All Ages, event details here.

Classic Car and Wooden Boat Show  Check out over 250 cars and 40 classic wooden boats in Lake Oswego. Sunday,  10am – 3pm at George Rogers Park, Free, All Ages, event details here.

Have an absolutely fantastic weekend!
