Hello folks! Math. It's got kind of a bad reputation. A lot of people out there say they don't like it, but it's one of those things that we use in our daily lives. You kind of have to learn to live with it. So, here are a few ways to make math fun!
Cash Bash is an electronic flash card to help kids learn about money. Hone your math and money skills by using the coin and dollar buttons to add up the matching amounts. Think fast! You only have 60 seconds to answer as many money facts as you can! With 2 skill levels this is a great game for kids 7 - 10, grades 2-4. And, the "video game" vibe is pretty appealing!
Dice Domes are a great way to add a little extra math into any board game. Shake the dome, then solve the add/ subtract equation inside to find out how much your roll is. Somewhat reminiscent of the pop-o-matic dice roller in Trouble, these are guaranteed fun!
Math-A-Kazam is an equation making game for math-a-magicians (ha! We sure do love puns around here)! Use the magic wand to draw number chips from the cauldron to create a math equation. Earn points based on the number of chips you use in your equation. Play can be adjusted to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and/or division.
And, with the magic word, Math-A-Kazam you and your child will be loving math! Ok, that might have been a little corny, but seriously, math can be fun, and it should be fun. Stop by and we can help you find all the tools you need to get your child adding and subtracting and more!
Have a fantastic day!
