Have you heard of KidScore? It's a new-ish website to help parents find the best kid-friendly places in town. Search for stores, restaurants, medical offices, activities, hotels and more in cities all across the US. The best part is that each business has a "kid score." Scores are based on a scale of 0-100, and range from Kid Heaven at 100 points to kids not welcome at 0 points. Even better, when you search the results come up in order of most to least kid friendly! Visit the site here.
And, here's a few fun things happening this weekend (plus, an awesome toy!)
Bricks Cascade 2013: a Lego Convention! Head over to the Oregon Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday to see some amazing creations made entirely out of Lego blocks. The convention will have tons of Lego models to marvel at, a play area full of legos, model builders on hand for kids to chat with and more! For more info and tickets, click here. Dinolandia: a penny's puppet production at the NW Library. Dinosaur puppets! We're in! Pop into our neighborhood library on NW 23rd & Thurman on Saturday at 3pm to see one of the newest productions put on by Penny the Puppeteer. Free and great for all ages. View the Library's website here for more info.
And, wouldn't this be a fun project to start this weekend?!
