This book would be a perfect companion for warm, early summer storms. Accompanied by Caldecott Medal winning illustrator Beth Krommes’ peaceful woodcuts, this story of few words wanders through a stormy day, ending with a silvery night. Beginning with a beautiful morning, we see the sky slowly cloud over, colors change from blue to gray and "rain, on rain, on rain" start to fall. But, just as it peacefully began, it peacefully ends with a bright sun fading to a silver moon. An absolutely lovely story. Great for ages 3-5.
Thanks for the review Chrissy.
