Leo A Ghost Story by Mac Barnett, Illustrated by Christian Robinson

A very not scary ghost story! In fact, it’s rather sweet! Leo is a friendly ghost who lives in a house by himself at the edge of the city, until one day a family moves in. To greet them he makes them mint tea and honey toast, but at the sight of the floating tray, they scream and hide in the bathroom! He hears them say that they hate ghosts, and sad Leo leaves his house to roam the city. To his surprise he meets a girl who can see him, and invites him over to play. This is a sweet tale of friendship and acceptance by the multi-award winning author of Extra Yarn and Illustrator of Josephine, an acclaimed 2014 picture book about the 1920’s entertainer Josephine Baker. Ages 3-5.

We love cute ghost stories! Thanks Chrissy for the review!
